1978 EXCALIBUR CONVERTIBLE
The Excalibur automobile was a car styled after the 1928 Mercedes-Benz SSK by Brooks Stevens for Studebaker. Over 3,500 Excalibur cars were built, all in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At its peak, Excalibur was the fourth largest automobile manufacturer in the United States, and the company was producing cars between 1965 and 1989. All cars were built on custom steel frames and utilized a Chevrolet Corvette drive train and suspension.
The American comedian Phyllis Diller was a notable proponent of the Excalibur automobile, and owned four of them.
Comes with removable hardtop, not original to the vehicle. Purchased separately
